I once described the glade as a place “where memories are made, and dreams come true” and it continues to be one of my must visit restaurants in London. I just love everything about it. The food is exquisite, and the atmosphere is magical. Step inside behind the privacy curtains and an incredibly special, truly delightful experience awaits. While I love all of what Sketch has to offer, The Glade is definitely my favourite. The service is exactly as you would expect from the Sketch experience, up there with the very best. I’ve just returned from a stay at the Leela Palace so you could say that I’m fussy. ~ Mr K

Great spot to grab a little breakfast before a long day in the city! We had the smoked salmon & poached egg with guacamole and egg mousse and the smash avocado on toast with asparagus. And for a bit of sweet we had a croissant cookie and pistachio pain au chocolate. Everything tasted great and really fun twists on traditional french pastries. The room itself is like an enchanted forest. So green with a canopy of leaves. Feels like a speakeasy bar! Definitely coming back to try out the evening cocktails here! ~ Denys L

I visited the cocktail bar on Wednesday to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Our South African waiter was extremely adept and professional at looking after us. His attention to detail would not go amiss in a 5 star hotel. When he saw that we were enjoying the aperitivo olives he came over with 3 more bowls of them for us to enjoy. Such meticulous attention to detail! I forgot to grab his name but he is an asset to Sketch. ~ Lucy A

Great drinks in an amazing room. Host told us the room was full and we could only sit in the room in the front with the giant t.v. playing sports. Went to the restroom and found that Glade was only about half full. When I asked a different host about availability, he said there was no problem getting us into Glade. Not sure why the first host wouldn't let us enter ~ Hex

I LOVE Sketch!! I'm so pleased it's thrived and reinvented itself so cleverly over the years!! Lunch at The Glade was as delicious as always!! The staff were incredibly attentive and lovely. Spectacular experience, from the warm welcome on arrival to the fabulous tea expertise from Henry, the wonderful afternoon Tea, the ambience & of course the decor. Oh…& a trip to the Loo is definitely an ‘oh WOW’ moment. ~ Julia R
